The theme for 2018 is ‘One Eco Step’, as the Eco Expo is not about pushing drastic measures but instead encouraging each of us to take just one step toward a sustainable lifestyle. Each ticket purchased online or at the event includes a $2 donation to one of three charities, selected by a recycled token on entry to the event.

Conveniently located at the Brisbane RNA Showgrounds, the Eco Expo offers convenient onsite parking, but encourages using public transport to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Reducing your carbon footprint has never been easier, with the train station only a 10-minute walk away and bus stops surrounding the venue which connect to the free city loop bus.

We recommend riding your bike to the event, with dedicated bike racks available to secure. Or, also to reduce emissions car pool with other visitors heading our way with the latest and greatest app on the ride share market, our event partner, Think Hitch!

Public transport is easily accessible and encouraged for all visitors to the Eco Expo.

  • Brisbane’s Domestic and International Airports are just a quick 15 minute taxi ride away.
  • The main taxi companies operating in Brisbane are Black and White Cabs (ph. 13 32 22) and Yellow Cabs (ph. 13 19 24).
  • Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley railway stations are less than a 10 minute walk from the Brisbane Showgrounds.

There are 10 separate car parking facilities within the Brisbane Showgrounds, with a total capacity of almost 2,500 vehicles. The parking fee is direct through the venue / chosen car park – please check rates before you enter. Visitor FAQ

Children under 14 receive free entry when accompanied by a paying guardian.

The $22 (inclusive of the $2 donation) covers quite a broad range of costs. As a company, the ticketing cost covers the year long curation of Eco exhibitors perfectly suited to the visitor demographic. As a visitor, the ticketing cost covers your entry to the Expo for one day, the giveaway bags available to the first 250 visitors each day, the 4 different free workshops and seminars inside, as well as the various free samples available on the day of your choice.

Tickets can be purchased on the Eco Expo website in order to skip the ticketing queue. Tickets can also be purchased at the event entry.

Parking is not included with any tickets. Parking at the RNA Showgrounds starts from $11, paid by cash or EFTPOS.
